Forbis Ltd. - Following 2006-year sales data, British IBS Publishing Company has presented the “Core Banking System” rating table, wherein the Forbis Company ranks the 11th place in the world market according to sales to new banks-clients among universal banking system creators and automated banking system providers.

FORPOST system, created by the Forbis Company, operates in 16 banks of Lithuania, Latvia, Russia, and Belarus. During sixteen years of the company existence, the system has been successfully implemented in more than 30 banks. 7 of 9 banks, working under the Lithuanian Bank license, use the company’s banking information system FORPOST. One more institution apart the above mentioned ones, which will become the 10th commercial bank in Lithuanian, is already among Forbis clients. Company’s Lithuanian banks-clients commemorate their fifteen years activity anniversary; these banks are rapidly growing and becoming acknowledged in the international market.
In the latter years the Forbis Company has strengthened its positions in the Russian banking information technologies market. 4 Russian commercial banks have joined company’s customers. Therefore, the created banking solution is being adapted to the requirements of different banking markets.
In the year 2006, signing of the agreement on system implementation in one of the Belarusian commercial banks, was the first step on the country’s market; and for a new business year, the Forbis Company has stipulated new aims and objectives directed to Belarusian banking area.
“The 11th place is not yet a final point. Obviously, the most important thing this year is to maintain current positions in the market, and in future we will seek for even better sales results”, stated Director of the Department of Marketing and Sales Nikolaj Mosejev. The Forbis Company, developing its sales activity, in the following two years is planning to step on new neighbor countries’ banking information system markets.
