Helium™ is an embedded key value store data engine that has been built from scratch to optimally utilize multi-core processors running on solid state storage such as Intel Optane, NvME and other Flash devices.  It indexes billions of objects using very compact indices allowing single digit microsecond latences and well over 10 Million transactions per second.  Currently Helium is available with its native Java or C api as well as in Helium-optimized versions of LevelDB, memcached, and RocksDB.  It is fully compatible with cloud offerings from Amazon, Google and Microsoft allowing optimal utilization of flash enabled nodes on those cloud platforms.
