Banking Business/Functional Analyst (FA/BA)
The Banking Business Analyst/Functional Analyst (FA/BA) serves as the bridge between our banking customers and the product development team that designs, develops, tests and deploys FINARTIS (formerly SAGE) product suites.
The FA/BA is responsible for ensuring that the underlying needs of the business are unambiguously articulated and that project stakeholders reach a common detailed understanding of “what” will be delivered (generally agnostic of the detailed “how” it will be delivered).
The FA/BA is a key consultant to our clients with the following responsibilities:
Work closely with client subject matter experts (SME) to capture, analyze, consolidate, and communicate business requirements
Analyze business impact of new/existing business processes
Write detailed requirements and functional specifications, and validate them with customer and development teams
Work with the Project Managers and Solution Architects in the project team to ensure requirements are successfully conveyed to the development team
Configure the application for customer usage
Document features of our products
Test the application
Key Strengths
Previous experience in analyzing banking business processes, as a BA or SME
Knowledge of banking products, more specifically on Wealth Management
Experience in requirements gathering and analysis techniques.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop requirements documents that are clear, precise, concise, and meaningful
The ability to convey information in various forms including, but not limited to, UML (Unified Modeling Language)
Experience in configuring large applications
Adept at dealing with differing opinions and conflict; able to build consensus and resolve problems
Fluent in English
Familiarity with any programming language is a plus
