Executive Vice President, Corporate Services Jason Paltrowitz Named to Crowdfunding Professional Association Board

OTC Markets Group Inc. (OTCQX: OTCM), operator of financial markets for 10,000 U.S. and global securities, today announced that Jason Paltrowitz, Executive Vice President of Corporate Services, has been named to the Board of Directors of the Crowdfunding Professional Association (CfPA).  In this role, Jason will be a valuable resource to provide constructive market insight and recommendations for new policies to enhance the mission of CfPA and enlist support for the growing Crowdfunding community.

In his current role at OTC Markets Group, Jason is responsible for managing the firm's Corporate Services business. A recognized proponent of Reg A+, small company capital raising and crowdfunding, Jason has been a keynote speaker and panelist at several Crowdfunding events, among various industry groups and is highly-regarded among his constituents within the crowdfinance community. He continues to advocate for small cap issuers, start-ups, and entrepreneurial innovators working to alleviate the cost, time and complexity associated with being a public company.

Prior to joining OTC Markets in October 2013, Jason was Managing Director and Segment Head at JP Morgan Chase, responsible for the custody, clearing and collateral management business in the Corporate and Investment Bank division. Jason began his career at BNY Mellon serving in multiple senior management positions, most notably as Head of M&A for the Financial Markets and Treasury Services Sector and 11 years in the Depositary Receipt Division as the Head of the Global Capital Markets Group. Jason also served as a member of the Board of Directors at OTC Markets Group from 2008-2011.

The Crowdfunding Professional Association (CfPA) is a leading 501(c)(6) nonprofit trade group established by the authors and proponents of Crowdfunding's inclusion in the Jumpstart Our Business Startup Act ("JOBS Act") of 2012.
