Awards validate advancements in tax software including fixed assets accounting
Bloomberg BNA’s software products group announced that its flagship BNA Fixed Assets™ Web solution was named a gold-level One Planet winner in the “Most Innovative Product of the Year” category and a bronze-level Best in Biz winner in the “Enterprise Product of the Year — Software” category. BNA Fixed Assets Web, automates the complete fixed assets lifecycle and currently manages tens of millions of assets for its corporate clients. One Planet also recognized Ken Crutchfield, Vice President of Software Products, as a gold-level One Planet winner in the “Technology Executive of the Year” category for his management of the BNA family of tax and accounting software products. All three awards were received in December 2016, capping a year of continued product innovation strategy that is committed to delivering best-in-class industry solutions.
“We are thrilled with each of these awards, but are especially honored that BNA Fixed Assets Web was recognized with the Best in Biz and One Planet awards,” said Ken Crutchfield. “These further validate our recent study, “Fixed Assets Accounting: Stuck in the Past” that explores the current challenges and opportunities of fixed assets management to improve efficiency and accuracy in large enterprises. It covers why fixed assets accounting lags in terms of technology adoption.”
Winners of the 2016 One Planet Awards were determined by a panel of independent peer judges. Winners of Best in Biz Awards 2016 were determined based on scoring from an independent panel of 50 judges.
