Sequel , the leading insurance and reinsurance software provider, has today announced the appointment of Helen Banton as Chief Operating Officer. Helen will be responsible for overseeing the next stage of Sequel’s strategic plan and leading the company through the phase of substantial growth it is currently experiencing.
Having worked within the IT and software industry for more than 20 years, Helen has built up a wealth of experience in this sector. She joins Sequel from ION Trading Group where she spent more than three years, including time as the company’s Global Head of Client Services for its Agency Trade Processing Division.
Prior to her time at ION, Helen was Global Head of Delivery at Patsystems, which followed two years as Head of Credit & Finance at Tieto Corporation, serving retail banking and asset finance institutions across the UK and Nordics. Helen has also held senior positons at AttentiV Systems and Lynx Financial.
