Software AG (Frankfurt TecDAX: SOW) today announced the appointment of Laura McCluer to the position of Vice President, Alliances and Channels. Effective immediately, Laura will manage and execute Software AG’s channel and partner initiatives and strategies in North America. Reporting to Kevin Niblock, Chief Operating Officer for North America at Software AG, McCluer will focus on strengthening and expanding the company’s footprint across the region.

The company is bolstering its investment in its partner ecosystem to strengthen current relationships and build new partnerships supporting digital transformation in key industry segments.

McCluer has more than 20 years of experience leading business development, strategic alliance and partner channel management at software and technology companies, including ANCILE, CA Technologies, and Novell, where she significantly grew partner ecosystems and developed strategic partnerships with numerous companies such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, IBM, HP, Dell, EMC, Intel, Oracle and Cisco. She has a BBA in marketing and general business from Goizueta Business School at Emory University and an MBA from the David Eccles School of Business at University of Utah.
