SIX Financial Information collected the award for Best Compliance Solution 2016 at this year's Systems in the City Awards. The award was accepted by Tamsin Hobley, Sales Director UK and Ireland, at the event in London.
SIX received the Best Compliance Solution award in recognition of its Sanctioned Securities Monitoring Service.
This innovative service offers extensive coverage of national and international sanctions lists as well as access to the SIX universe of instrument and legal entity data. Financial institutions can keep up to date with which securities and regimes are affected by global sanctions in a transparent and efficient way.
“Complying with sanctions against different countries and individuals represents a major challenge for financial institutions. By providing them with comprehensive lists that are updated daily, we help banks keep on top of the complexity of tracing sanctioned individuals, securities and regimes and therefore avoid significant fines. Our comprehensive service also simplifies the processing of information and frees internal resources to tackle other compliance priorities,” said Hobley.
The Systems in the City Awards take place annually in London and reward the leading service and system suppliers to the regulated financial community.
This is the sixth time that SIX has won a Systems in the City award. Over the past few years, SIX Financial Information has also been presented with awards including Best Data Innovation for FundsFast, Best Data Feed Provider, and Best Corporate Actions Provider.
