GFT release new UX thought leadership

In this new digital world, complex and multi-faceted interaction with information has created tremendous challenges for design research. Though how does a researcher capture a holistic perspective from which to design? GFT UX specialists Gordon Akwera (Head of NA UX Practice) and Graeme Harker (Head of UK UX Practice), argue in a new point-of-view that the answer lies in using “Mixed Methods Research Models,” with an emphasis on qualitative research.

The paper entitled “Mixed Methods: Effectively gaining research insights in the new digital world”, analyses how designers can ensure high-quality insights from research, and how it is important to understand the world we are now living in. It also explores how the research now conducted needs to be able to capture and provide insights into the multi-faceted lives we are living.
