New partnership offers US asset managers a better way to win (and do) business.
Two of the world's leading document automation specialists have extended their partnership into North America. The goal? To transform and streamline the way asset managers in the US and Canada win (and do) business.
According to Ray Meiring, CEO of Qorus Software: "Qorus and GMA have already had great success with institutional asset managers around the world. They all have a common need to generate custom client communications, such as pitch books, fact sheets, RFP responses and client reviews. The process of updating and manually "workflowing" these documents takes an enormous amount of time and slows turnaround time considerably."
Ben Grey from GMA Consulting agrees: "Strict compliance requirements are turning the automation of such communications into a necessity rather than a luxury. We are addressing a serious gap that exists with traditional client reporting solutions, which tend to be highly technical and miss the mark for marketers and their sales channels."
How does it work?
The foundation for these solutions is a program called Qorus DocGeneration, a SharePoint-based system that integrates with commonly used CRM systems, as well as other internal and third-party data to create:
- Pitch books
- RFP responses
- Fact sheets and product profiles
- Client reviews / board reports
- Monthly and quarterly client reports
The solution is unique in that it enables users to create and manage content from within Word, Excel and PowerPoint, making it very easy to learn and use.
"The idea is to store the information once and re-use it in multiple outputs, for example, in pitch books and RFPs", explains Grey. "This not only saves significant time and reduces the risk of human errors – but it also enables sales teams to generate these documents themselves, which is game-changing."
Meiring agrees, "Our combined range of solutions make us the only providers in the market today who can offer asset managers a fully-integrated automation solution. We even offer a popular out-of-the-box cloud solution (Qorus Breeze Proposals) that is subscription based."
Qorus Breeze Proposals takes the idea of document automation a step further by enabling users to ‘shop' for content sections via a web-based guided cart tool. Selected content sections are then automatically merged with CRM and other data sources and assembled into perfectly-branded, compliant Microsoft Word and PowerPoint documents - within seconds. The system is also designed to make responding to RFPs less of a chore - thanks to its Q&A pairs library, task allocation functionality and powerful Excel integration.
