Certeco, a leading business technology change consultancy has today announced the hire of testing and quality assurance (QA) industry expert, Jane Such, to head its thriving assurance practice.
Prior to Certeco, Jane led CSC’s regional testing centre of excellence, where she was responsible for the post merger functional integration of two test consultancies consisting of over 250 consultants. Through the integration she created and implemented a “one company culture,” in addition to a uniform test delivery methodology and QA organisation. Jane had delivery responsibility for nearly 40 clients, consisting of single engagement, large offshore delivery teams and large-scale government deliveries.
Before CSC, Jane was head of test and QA at multinational DIY retailer Kingfisher where she created the company’s first enterprise wide testing and QA function. In the past Jane has also held senior testing roles at QA and testing specialist AppLabs, the AA and Centrica.
Of her new role at Certeco Jane commented: “I’m thrilled to be on board at Certeco and heading up the QA practice. Building on a strong foundation, I will be focusing on delivering better business outcomes for our clients through quality assurance.”
Adam Ripley, managing director of Certeco commented: “It’s a real coup for us to have someone of Jane’s calibre on board. Testing is vital for clients. Any system problems that occur can have serious repercussions for companies, from loss of custom through to reputational damage. Having a sound testing strategy in place can help them to avoid this. Jane will play a key role in helping our clients embrace whatever change they might face with certainty and confidence.”
