eXchequer 365 app enables accountants to add greater value to their clients
Advanced Exchequer (Advanced), a market-leading accounting and business software provider, will unveil new functionality for its mobile finance app, eXchequer 365, on stand A580 at Accountex 2015 on 13 and 14 May 2015 at ExCel, London.
Now in its fourth year, Accountex is the UK’s only national exhibition for accountants and finance directors working in practice, business and the public sector.
The UK accounting market is experiencing stronger growth. *Fee income of the UK’s top 75 accountancy firms achieved pre-recessionary levels in 2014 reaching a combined total in excess of £12 billion, up by more than 6% over the previous 12 months. Technology, in particular mobile applications, is increasingly being adopted by accountancy providers as they seek to become more efficient, flexible and responsive to their clients’ needs.
eXchequer 365 provides businesses with remote access to key information via the Exchequer finance system. The app can take and process orders, authorise transactions and create and view tailored management reports, helping to improve productivity.
New functionality enables accountants to securely view their client data and reports and work seamlessly across all devices – from desktop, tablet and smartphone, anytime and anywhere. Users can instantly review work in progress, view the status of a client’s project and access accounts receivable information and related documents while on the move in a mobile-friendly format.
In addition, purchase orders and requisitions can now be easily submitted and tracked via eXchequer 365 with automatic push notifications alerting users to their approval status. The app also allows managers to review and authorise supplier invoices remotely, speeding up the supply chain management cycle and increasing purchase-to-pay efficiency.
