ISITC (The International Securities Association for Institutional Trade Communication), the industry trade group focused on standards in transaction processing and related communications, today announced that Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP (PwC) will present and lead a general session based upon their research paper, "Asset Management 2020 - A brave new world," at ISITC's Quarterly Meeting on June 1, 2015 in Denver, Colorado.
ISITC’s Quarterly Meeting is dedicated to the working groups ISITC sponsors and features a general session on topics of interest to the membership. This year’s general session presentation will focus around the changing operating landscape for asset managers and discuss ways that managers can prepare for the challenges ahead and turn this into a competitive advantage. The data supporting this topic came from PwC staff and clients around the world and leverages PwC's proprietary Project Blue framework to identify megatrends impacting the future of the industry. The research covers sources of clients, changes in distribution channels, fee structure transparency and who the industry disrupters will be. The discussion will be lead, jointly by Vikram Panjwani, Director in the Risk Assurance and member of the PwC Volker Implementation Task Force and John Siciliano, Managing Director, Asset Management Advisory.
“We are thrilled to have executives from Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP speak on the changing operating landscape for asset managers during the general session,” comments Jeff Zoller, Chair of ISITC and Vice President at T. Rowe Price. “PwC's presentation is of great interest to the ISITC community because its industry predictions will help our working groups plan for the future. I look forward to discussing these transformations with my fellow members and hearing Vikram and John’s thoughts on the asset management space in particular.”
The ISITC working groups are tasked with crafting best operational practices for the North American market. This critical work involves operational process flow analysis, data definitions and embracing messaging standards where possible.
ISITC’s Quarterly Meeting will take place from May 31-June 2, 2015 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Denver, Colorado.
