Axletree Solutions, Inc. continues to expand their leadership team. Frank Van Weezendonk has joined the company and will be heading up the Marketing Department as Chief Marketing Officer. In addition, Muralee Mahathevan has been brought in to manage the implementation of Treasurytree TMS and SWIFTNet Connectivity projects.
Franklin M. Van Weezendonk, Chief Marketing Officer
Franklin has over 40 years’ experience with executive positions in Finance, IT, Sales/Marketing, Operations and General Management. At the head office of Royal Philips Electronics in the Netherlands he was in charge of the Concern Finance Bureau, implementing the first large scale international netting payments system. Then he joined the Philips Lighting group in the United States as VP Operations, VP IT, and VP/GM of the Lighting Fixtures Division. Frank spent 13 years with StonCor (chemicals and construction), most lately as Group Manager for the Stonhard, Plasite and Fibergrate companies.
He has a strong international background: lived in four continents, speaks several languages and has worked for Dutch, Swiss, Norwegian and American companies. Franklin graduated from Nijenrode University in Business Administration and holds Masters Degrees in Economics and Law from Erasmus University, The Netherlands.
Muralee Mahathevan, Project Implementation Manager
Muralee has 15 years of experience in Information Technology and Project Management. His expertise is in understanding and implementing projects with accuracy and precision. He has managed and Implemented desktop migrations, and designed procedures and documentation for numerous projects. He spearheaded the USA COE Migration Project involving multiple site visits around the country to implement RBC Standards. Muralee was also involved in the Windows 2000 Migration at Royal Bank of Canada, where he worked for 12 years as a Technical Analyst, Project Coordinator, and Business Systems Analyst. He helped with annual board meetings as Lead Technician, and was Lead Support for the CEO and Executives at RBC. He migrated over 1,000 Mobile users across Ontario, Canada, to a new Operating System within six months as part of a major bank initiative.
Before stepping into his current position, he served as the Chief Technical Officer for Digi Group in Canada for two years, where he led the conversion of basic business high speed internet access to Fiber connection for all sites. Muralee holds a Masters certificate in Business Analysis and CompTIA A+ from York University, and one in the Fundamentals of Project Management from Ryerson University.
According to Martin Lightman, Chief Operating Officer, “Frank joins Axletree as our Chief Marketing Officer to further expand and consolidate our marketing efforts. Also, as our Treasury Management business continues to grow, the need for “on-time” scheduling and implementation becomes a necessity. Muralee has joined the team to make this a reality, along the same lines as the service and support we offer through our SWIFT Service Bureau”.
