A leading bank selects Zarion Software to enable delivery of bank statements through the e-channel

Dublin - 19 August 2015

Zarion, a leading software company, specialising in solving complex business problems for the global financial services industry, announced that it was selected by a leading bank in the Czech Republic, to make annual e-statements available to their banking customers.

This project was part of a wider initiative at the bank around leveraging their electronic channels more efficiently and encouraging customers to interact with them digitally.

Zarion Automate integrated the internet banking channel with the document repository at the back end so that customers can log in and securely retrieve their up to date annual statements from the enterprise archive.

While a key driver for this project was to reduce the costs associated with printing and posting statements, the bank also recognises that their customers increasingly want to do business online. More importantly, it wants to make the information available to them in a secure and controlled manner. As Zarion Software already manages their internal document repositories, it made sense to engage with them to make their enterprise archive available to their customers.

Martin McFadden, Business Development Director for Zarion Software commented: “This initiative makes total sense for the bank as it reduces costs significantly but more importantly, it provides customers with real-time, secure access to their bank statements. Having the same documents available internally and externally (i.e. using the same document repository) also makes it easier for customer service agents to respond to customer queries”.
