Computerworld: SIX among the top 10 ICT companies in Switzerland

Zurich - 2 September 2014

Since 1997, the Swiss specialist magazine Computerworld has published an annual ranking of the top 500 ICT companies in Switzerland. SIX is among the winners in 2014.

With generated operating income of CHF 1,582.7 million in the 2013 financial year, SIX occupies first place in the IT services segment. An 8.9 percent increase in income means SIX was also one of last year's top four performers. "We have consulted with our clients to ensure that we understand their challenges and needs and are able to offer them clear added value through the provision of high-quality products and innovations," says SIX Group CEO Dr. Urs Rüegsegger, who is quoted by the specialist magazine.

In the overall ranking for the top 500 ICT companies in Switzerland in terms of sales, SIX is in an excellent sixth place. SIX thus sits just behind Swisscom and Apple Switzerland but in front of Orange and Google – all four companies are now also competitors in the business area of cashless payments.

The full ranking and additional analyis can be found in the August issue of Computerworld (no. 13/2014).
