Capco, a global business and technology consultancy dedicated solely to the financial services industry, is placed 40th in The Sunday Times ‘100 Best Companies to Work For' list for 2014. The company has ranked three years running.
Andrew Tarver, Capco Partner and UK CEO said, “It’s a huge accomplishment to make this competitive list three years in a row. I’m privileged to be part of a company where the employees invest such significant time and effort into the business and its philosophy. As well as exceeding client expectations, our people create an inspiring and inclusive culture and bring great energy to the firm. This listing is testament to the Capco ethos which challenges us all to find our true potential.”
Capco was recognised for the opportunities it offers its people to grow and learn (only two firms in the UK were higher scoring). 82% of employees feel that the experience they gain at Capco is invaluable for their future. The firm also ranked 8th out of 10 in the league table for most inspiring leader. 85% of employees confirmed they have a great deal of faith in the team and the boss.
The Sunday Times’ annual list is based on a rigorous employee survey and company questionnaire. Capco’s placement reflects strong, positive employee feedback on 2013. Over that time the company has seen significant growth but continues to place its employees at the heart of the organisation. Operating with very little hierarchy, employees have access to the senior leadership team on a daily basis and are actively encouraged to put their own ideas forward, giving them a platform on which they can develop and grow.
