At the 2014 Family Wealth Summit that took place at New York City’s Metropolitan Club last week, Appway was awarded the WealthBriefing Family Wealth Award in the category of Best Global Client Onboarding Solution for its outstanding client services in the financial sector across Europe, Asia and the Americas.
Showcasing “best of breed” providers in the global private banking, wealth management and trusted advisor communities, the prestigious WealthBriefing awards commend individuals and institutions demonstrating innovation and excellence in US and Canadian markets.
Evaluating companies based on “independence, integrity and genuine insight,” the judges honored Appway for its innovative BPM-based solution that allows wealth managers to seamlessly onboard new clients and complex portfolios into their organizations. The panel of judges responsible for nominating and selecting recipients was comprised of experts from private banks and trusted advisors, as well as experts from the IT, philanthropy and investment management industries.
"It’s a great honor to be recognized and it’s a great testament to the hard work that our team has put into expanding the Appway footprint over the last 3 years,” said Glenn Bolstad, Appway’s Vice President of Sales in North America, on the award. “Everyone has really pulled together to ensure we continue to deliver the highest level of service to our clients and move us closer to our goal of being recognized as the global leader in client onboarding.”
The award ceremony was preceded by a full-day summit on strengthening data accuracy and streamlining client services and compliance procedures in today’s controlled, competitive and increasingly mobile financial realm. Over 150 family wealth office leaders, independent investors and technology providers participated in the afternoon events, showcasing the extraordinary range and depth of individual and institutional expertise in attendance.
Appway’s Bolstad was invited to participate in an expert panel discussion with fellow industry leaders in compliance and financial technologies. Discussing technology and operations, the group emphasized the critical challenges facing wealth managers and family offices today as a result of increasing industry regulations.
Appway was also the proud benefactor of the Women in Wealth Management Awards designed to honor female leadership in the financial industry. Bolstad announced Pitcairin CEO Leslie Voth the individual winner and U.S. Trust the institutional frontrunner.
