WEX™ Connect Mobile Application Offers Upgraded Features and Improved Functionality 

WEX Inc. (NYSE:WEX), a leading provider of corporate payment solutions, today announced the relaunch of its mobile application, formerly known as Octane®, under the newly branded name WEX™ Connect.

In addition to announcing the new WEX™ Connect name, the WEX team is pleased to introduce new service station locator capability available through the upgraded application. Similar to how WEX™ Connect allows users to search for and locate fueling stations and fuel prices, the new capability allows users to find service stations in their area based on brand, distance and service type (oil changes, tires, transmissions, etc.).

“The WEX™ Connect service location capability enables drivers to search for and quickly locate their preferred fuel and service stations,” said Ken Janosick, senior vice president and general manager of WEX global fleet direct. “Through WEX™ Connect, drivers can access both fuel and service station maps and directions. WEX™ Connect obtains its data from WEX’s proprietary fuel management network, which connects thousands of fuel and service stations across the United States and delivers near real time station information.”

Users who previously downloaded the original Octane® application have been prompted to install the upgraded WEX™ Connect application through their app store.
