(NASDAQ: MORN), a leading provider of independent investment research, is expanding its equity research offering in Europe with the appointment of Alex Morozov, CFA as director of equity research, Europe, and Allen Good, CFA, Philip Gorham, CFA, FRM, and Allan Nichols, CFA as senior equity analysts. The team is based in Amsterdam.

Morozov is director of European equity research, leading a team of equity analysts based in Amsterdam who cover European and global companies. Prior to assuming his current role, he was head of healthcare equity research, where he led a team of 10 healthcare analysts that covers more than 150 companies across the healthcare sector worldwide. Before that, he was a senior equity analyst, covering the medical instruments, life sciences, and diagnostics industries. Morozov holds a bachelor’s degree in finance, with a minor in mathematics, from the University of Missouri. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. Good is a senior equity analyst, covering the oil and gas industries. Prior to joining Morningstar in 2008, he performed merger and acquisition advisory work for a middle-market investment bank. Before that, Good spent several years at Black & Decker in various operational roles. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Tennessee and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School. Good also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
Gorham is a senior equity analyst, covering the European consumer sector. From 2011 to 2013, he was an equity analyst for Federated Investors, where he covered the consumer sector for the firm’s global core equity and mid-cap growth funds. He rejoined Morningstar in 2014 after serving as equity analyst and associate director of equity research for the consumer staples sector for Morningstar from 2008 to 2011. Gorham holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Sunderland in the UK. He holds a master’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in accounting from the University of North Carolina. Gorham also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® and certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM®) designations.
Nichols is a senior equity analyst, covering the telecommunications sector. He was previously a senior equity analyst in Morningstar’s Chicago office, covering international telecommunication companies. Before joining Morningstar in 2004, he spent nine years covering domestic and international stocks for Kirr, Marbach & Co., including five years of managing international stocks for the firm. Nichols holds a bachelor's degree in finance, with an emphasis in investments, from the University of Utah and a master’s degree in business administration from Indiana University, with a major in finance and a minor in economics. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
