(NYSE: MSCI), a leading provider of investment decision support tools worldwide, announced today that Gjensidigestiftelsen, the Norwegian foundation with approximately USD 8 billion in assets under management, selected MSCI ESG Research Inc. to provide ethical screening and external manager engagement services.
Gjensidigestiftelsen has subscribed to MSCI ESG Impact Monitor to ensure that the global companies in which they invest meet their ethical investment standards and MSCI ESG Portfolio Analytics for external manager engagement. MSCI ESG Portfolio Analytics provides clients with the ability to analyze managed portfolios for exposure to ESG risk factors, with ESG performance comparisons to conventional and ESG-tilted benchmarks.
