Leading purchase-to-pay specialist enhances European presence with new operation and key appointment
Enterprise purchase-to-pay specialist, Palette, is continuing its European expansion with the opening of a new subsidiary based in Espoo, Finland. With its web-based purchase-to-payment suite, PaletteArena, Palette has been the market leader in Scandinavia for many years. Palette Finland Oy has been established to grow the company’s sales and support operations across the country.
Commenting on the opening of the Finnish office, Lars Ola Petters, CEO of Palette said: “With over 1400 customers in 34 countries we wanted to further strengthen our position by expanding into the Finnish market. There is an increasing demand for purchase-to-pay solutions in the region; our new office will help us to deliver innovative products to a new customer base and continue to build successful and sustainable customer relationships.”
Key to the expansion is the appointment of Juha Väänänen as CEO of Palette Finland Oy. With over 25 years’ experience in purchase to pay automation, Mr Väänänen has a strong background in sales, having previously worked for companies including Analyste Corporation and Basware. His extensive knowledge of the industry brings an increased awareness of the trend in the take-up of automated processes among businesses, and how this may be translated to the Finnish market.
