Sopra Banking Software is proud to announce that in Gartner’s annual Magic Quadrant for International Retail Core Banking (IRCB), it has been positioned as a ‘Leader’ for the second time in a row, based on its ability to execute and completeness of vision. Gartner is a world-leading IT research and advisory company.
Gartner’s IRCB ‘Magic Quadrant’ is widely held as an authority on the performance, achievements, scope and strategy of the world’s key players in the core banking market. The Magic Quadrant is important to the companies in it, but it is even more important to banks that need guidance when they are looking to update their core banking infrastructure.
For 2014, Gartner put the Sopra Banking Platform solution in the ‘Leaders’ category on the Magic Quadrant. The report also positioned the Sopra Banking Amplitude solution in the ‘Visionaries’ category. This assessment was based on interviews with banks as well as confidential information core banking players shared with Gartner.
Eric Pasquier, CEO of Sopra Banking Software, says: “These recognitions mean a great deal to us and confirm, through all the work that we have done, our strategy to market a total solution of software as well as services.”
Sopra Banking Software is a subsidiary of the Sopra Steria Group, and this recognition highlights its capacity to offer a greater range of services, which is a core part of its strategy.
“We rely on the combination of our solutions and services to position ourselves as a privileged partner for banks. This scope includes everything from early advice to implementation, managed services and after-sales customer service,” concludes Eric Pasquier.
