Citi was named “Best Bank of the Year” by Futures and Options World (FOW), the global derivatives publication, for the second year in a row. The awards were decided by a panel of industry experts based on client input. Categories span the full breadth of market players and honor industry leading innovations and product launches.
Citi has continued to invest in its futures and clearing business through a number of pioneering initiatives implemented over the past year. Some notable achievements include expanded functionality to Citi’s Futures and Options Execution (CFOX) platform through the recent launch of “CFOX SE,” a comprehensive suite of trading and monitoring tools designed to bring greater transparency to the trading cycle. Clients also benefit from greater exchange connectivity with the addition of the OCC North American Equity Option Markets, TOCOM, KRX, Taifex, and DGCX, bringing CFOX’s market coverage count to 51.
On the OTC clearing front, Citi provides scalable and automated solutions for its clients across the globe, and continues to demonstrate leadership and innovation by deploying an industry-leading balance sheet optimization initiative.
“Over the past year we have brought new innovative solutions to the market in order to further enhance transparency and efficiency for our clients,” said Jerome Kemp Global Head of Futures, Clearing and Collateral. “We are honored to receive this award- a testament to our continued focus and investment in the futures, clearing and collateral business.”
