- Ed Watson joins as Partner to lead Housing Finance Practice
- Capco’s expertise to be leveraged across the housing ecosystem
Capco, the global business and technology consultancy dedicated solely to the financial services industry, today announced that Ed Watson has been appointed Partner and Lead of the firm’s Housing Finance Practice. A former Executive Vice President and Head of Operations, Technology & General Services at Fannie Mae, Watson will work closely with veterans of Capco’s Banking, Technology and Capital Market teams to help shape the future of housing finance.

The Housing Finance Practice is developing solutions for banks, originators, government-sponsored enterprises and other large organizations that play a critical role in today’s housing industry. The primary goals of the group are to: improve data flow through industry standard formats and processes; increase data accuracy; ensure ease of access for all stakeholders; and increase participant profits while lowering cost to consumer.
The Housing Finance Practice at Capco combines the firm’s industry leading banking expertise and housing expertise to help shape the future of housing finance infrastructure. In addition to Ed Watson, the team is led by Capco Partners T.J. Campbell, Mike Pugliese, Scott Claus and Frank Mackris, as well as Dr. Peter Leukert, Head of Enterprise Strategy at FIS and Head of the Capco Institute.
