BPC supported the Bank in leveraging its card business
BPC Banking Technologies, the leading provider of Open System payment solutions, is pleased to announce that Jordan Kuwait Bank (JKB) has successfully completed its migration to SmartVista. Powered by SmartVista JKB is now able to streamline all its channels and provide its customers with sophisticated card products.
Founded in 1976, today JKB delivers innovative products and services to individuals and SME customers through its network of 55 branches and 75 ATMs across Jordan. Throughout its history, the Bank has taken advantage of the latest technology and skilled staff to deliver high quality services to its customers. In 2012 JKB decided to replace its legacy payments solution as part of the Bank’s ambitious growth plans. Following a comprehensive study of solutions in the market, SmartVista from BPC was chosen due to its unique combination of functionality, technology, flexibility and security.
Implementing SmartVista is an important step forward for JKB. The new solution provides an advanced environment for cards and ATMs services; helps the Bank rollout a set of revolutionary products in the field of e-payments, and enhances the Bank’s leading position in the field of technological applications and exceptional customer service. Today, the bank offers a complete range of card products and can rapidly tailor new products. In addition to cost-effectively interfacing to international payment systems – Visa and MasterCard BPC also developed special interfaces to the Bank’s Internet-bank and core banking system, thereby streamlining processing, eliminating errors and reducing costs.
One of the benefits JKB has already seen is in the reduction of ATM downtime. JKB is using SmartVista to control each ATM no matter where it is located. As a result, JKB is assured that its ambitious ATM network growth plans are fully supported.
