SIX Swiss Exchange - "Trade Sponsored Funds as easily as shares"

SIX has published its 2013 annual report. It includes a special chapter dedicated to Sponsored Funds, the new trading segment of SIX Swiss Exchange.

The latest annual report of SIX presents not only the key figures on financial year 2013 but also current challenges facing the financial market infrastructure and services provided by SIX that are of particular importance to the Swiss economy.

Expanded offering: a new form of exchange trading 

In March 2013 SIX Swiss Exchange expanded its regulated exchange trading offering by launching the Sponsored Fundssegment together with Bank Julius Baer as the first sponsor. The newest trading segment is presented in detail in an interview with Oliver Heusser of Bank Julius Baer.

A lively and eventful year on the stock market 

SIX Swiss Exchange can look back on a pleasing year: trading turnover rose by 12.5% to CHF 1'004.4 billion. Operating income rose by 4.1% to CHF 198.5 million, and earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) increased by 22.1% to CHF 94.9 million.
