Volume record for German power derivatives at NASDAQ OMX Commodities

NASDAQ OMX Commodities’ cleared German power volumes set a record for the second time in September when volumes reached an unprecedented 1.89 TWh on September 19.

The market share for total cleared German power reached 17% on September 19.

Welcoming the new record Bjørn Sibbern, Head of NASDAQ OMX Commodities, said: “We are moving from strength to strength in German power, and this last record demonstrates our increasingly strong position in the German power market.
