Xignite CEO to Judge Startup Challenge
Xignite’s CEO, Stephane Dubois, and CTO, Al Chang, will speak at the DataWeek 2013 and API World event October 2-3 in San Francisco. The data and API conference focuses on innovative data technologies and forward-thinking topics, such as the API economy, the Hadoop ecosystem, machine learning tools, and data hacker tools. The event draws more than 4,000 attendees and includes hackathon activities, technical workshops, and an expo.
Al Chang, CTO of Xignite, will speak on October 2 – Big Data and Cloud Day. Chang’s Lightning Talk: Real-Time Market Data in the Cloud session will focus on financial market data cloud solutions and address questions such as “How can a cloud solution deliver real-time market data?” How do you scale a cloud solution to handle millions of requests per day?” “How do you implement redundancy to mitigate hardware, network, and even data-related issues?”
Stephane Dubois, Xignite CEO and Founder, will speak on October 3 - Data Driven Business Day. He will join the Data Hubs, Data Markets, Data-as-a-Service panel to discuss how developers and startups can obtain new sources of data feeds. Dubois will also be a judge at the DataWeek Startup Challenge event on October 3. 20 Startup Challenge exhibitors, selected from 60 data + analytic startup applicants, will have 3 minutes to pitch their idea.
