"File Clerk" Automation in Financial Applications — New White Paper Released by Flux

29 May 2013

Today, Flux released a new white paper: "File Clerk" Automation in Financial Applications.

This new white paper describes the role a "file processing clerk" plays in financial software applications.

Real-word file clerks act as the "workflow engine" in today's corporate enterprises. These file clerks are responsible for reviewing incoming material, recording it, maintaining it, and making recommendations on what to do with it.

Like their real-word brethren, file clerks in financial software applications solicit information, track it, enforce service-level agreements, offer up the information for quality assurance review, and forward the information to back-end processes.

This new white paper takes the file clerk's responsibilities and shows how they can be applied to financial applications such as:

  • eBAM (Electronic Bank Account Management)
  • Commercial Lending

"Learning how to apply the lessons of file clerks by routing incoming files through multi-step workflows is a key lesson in developing today's sophisticated software applications. These best practices can be applied to eBAM, commercial lending, and many other financial applications to drive throughput and reliability to new heights," stated Ron Schultz, Flux Solution Architect.
