Xenomorph TimeScape Released on Windows Azure Cloud

Singapore, London and New York - 24 May 2013

Xenomorph, the analytics and data management solutions provider to global financial institutions, jhave announced that its analytics and data management solution, TimeScape, has been enabled for use on Microsoft Corp.’s cloud platform, Windows Azure.

Following Microsoft’s recent announcement of the general availability Windows Azure Infrastructure Services, Xenomorph now offers clients the ability to run TimeScape in the cloud as an additional and complementary option to client-site installation.

Brian Sentance, CEO of Xenomorph, said: “The availability of both on-premise and cloud deployment of TimeScape offers more flexibility in system deployment, control of infrastructure costs and global availability of data and analytics. Some of our clients have followed the pattern of successful on-premise deployment and once this business logic is production proven, they then want to move it offsite. This new capability for TimeScape is a direct response to that need.”

Chris Budgen, Chief Technical Architect of Xenomorph, added: “Windows Azure Infrastructure Services is a great Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) offering, enabling us to configure TimeScape for cloud deployment quickly and easily, and involving no major changes to our existing technical stack. We look forward to doing more work with Microsoft to take advantage of the latest developments in cloud technology and big data infrastructure.”

David Aiken, Director, Server and Tools Marketing, of Microsoft, said: “Windows Azure offers customers the flexibility to deploy cloud solutions in the way that best serves their business. It is great to see Xenomorph’s TimeScape take advantage of Windows Azure Infrastructure Services to enable cloud and hybrid-cloud data management solutions. While on-premises deployment remains essential for many institutions, cloud and hybrid-cloud architectures are the direction financial markets’ software solutions and services are taking, and Windows Azure helps Xenomorph enable these architectures.”
