Product Suite Recognised for Enhancing Investment Data Management, Process Efficiency, and Transparency

DST Global Solutions, a leading technology provider of investment management solutions, today announced that Anova, a suite of products for post-trade data management, performance measurement, compliance, and client reporting has won the 2013 FTF News Innovation Award for “Best Middle Office Solution.”

The “Best Middle Office Solution” category is judged on a number of features, functionality, and benefits, including: preservation and reconciliation of data, capacity to run key performance measurement calculations, and to generate client reports.

The FTF News innovation awards process is driven by subscribers who select nominees by taking a survey that identifies and evaluates advancements in the financial technology and services industry.

“FTF congratulates all of the winners and finalists of this year’s Technology Innovation Awards,” says Maureen Lowe, President and Founder of Financial Technologies Forum, LLC. “Every nominee has made a significant impact in financial services operations. While competition has been the fiercest it has ever been, with a record number of nominations and votes cast, there could only be one winner in each category.”

The Anova suite of products is designed for post-trade data aggregation, analytics, and reporting. At the heart of Anova is a highly scalable continuous processing engine enabling investment firms to prepare and access company-wide post-trade investment information and analytics on a 24x7 basis anywhere in the world.

"In a recent survey of IT priorities, 84 % of executives agree on the importance of improving client-facing technology. Since better reporting needs better data, there is a demonstrable need from managers, analysts, and asset owners to access a much wider range of analytics, in real-time, with the ability to drill down into the details of every performance and attribution variable," quotes Gert Raeves, Research Director at CEB TowerGroup. "Solutions that provide the ability to aggregate and validate benchmarks, indices, and internal data, are critical to help firms improve the quality of their reporting functions."

“We are delighted to receive this prestigious award from FTF News,” said Julian Webb, Global Head of Data Management & Analytics of DST Global Solutions. “This recognition validates our commitment to helping companies solve critical data aggregation and management and performance measurement challenges. We will continue to invest in Anova’s capabilities to serve our market with even greater business intelligence capability in the future.”
