Equipos Expands North America Operation With New Canadian Office

Toronto, ON - 6 June 2013

Equipos, the leading global supplier of client communications and client reporting solutions for wealth and institutional asset management firms, has expanded its North American footprint with the opening of new offices at 161 Bay Street, in the heart of Toronto’s financial district.

“Expanding into Toronto at this time makes perfect strategic sense,” said Alan Hamilton, CEO at Equipos. “We already have clients and partners in Canada, and interest in our Coric™ Client Communications solution is at an all time high. Our new base in Toronto will enable us to engage more effectively with wealth and asset managers across the region.”

Coric Client Communications is a multi-award-winning end-to-end client reporting and communications suite used by buy-side firms to enrich client experience and gain operational efficiency through client reporting automation.

According to Mike Hendy, Vice President North America at Equipos, “Toronto is home to many leading financial institutions, which we are actively engaged with, including Canada’s largest banks, many foreign banks and two of the world’s largest life insurers. It is an open and accessible city, with many characteristics that make it a great place to do business.”

To celebrate the firm’s expansion into Toronto, Equipos held its North America Client Communications Conference at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel on Tuesday June 4th, 2013. Sponsored by Deloitte and Genpact Headstrong, in association with the Toronto Financial Services Alliance (TFSA), the conference focused on innovation and trends in client servicing and communications. Delegates gained insight into the Toronto financial services sector and receive best practice advice for driving client retention and growth, cutting costs and ensuring ROI.
The keynote speaker Janet Ecker, President of the TFSA, lead the impressive line-up of thought leadership speakers and panelists including Deloitte, Equipos, TD Asset Management and Microsoft.
