Interactive Data's Vantage℠ Wins Award for Best Information Display

London - 9 July 2013

VantageSM provides enhanced transparency for 2.8 million daily evaluated prices

Interactive Data Corporation, a leading provider of global pricing, reference and corporate actions data, today announced that it received the ‘Best Information Display’ award for VantageSM at the Systems in the City Awards, which took place on 19 June 2013 in London.

Vantage enables pricing groups, portfolio managers and risk officers to delve into the key market inputs that impact a bond’s value, through an intuitive and highly graphical web portal that combines market data with Interactive Data’s global evaluated pricing services. Daily and historical market and trade data is integrated with TRACE® corporate and MSRB municipal bond data, evaluated prices, reference and assumptive data, Market Depth Indicators, and comparable bonds.

Vantage’s intuitive and uncluttered interface offers transparency into 2.8 million daily evaluated prices, from the most transparent liquid corporate and sovereign markets to the less liquid non-agency CMO and subprime markets. It provides:

  • Graphic displays of daily market data (bids, offerings, asks) and trades (including FINRA® TRACE®, MSRB, etc.) alongside the Interactive Data evaluated price for the corresponding instrument.
  • Assumptive data fields including CPR, default, WAL, spread and other data that empower firms to understand the inputs that go into evaluated prices.
  • A “Market Depth Indicator” that reveals the number of market data sources for bids, asks, and trades.
  • An innovative comparable bond feature to help identify securities with similar characteristics.

"We are pleased that Vantage has been recognised by the Systems in the City Awards as best in category. Interactive Data continues to increase transparency into our evaluations by providing new visualisation and data reporting tools that help our clients meet their due diligence requirements,” said Brendan Beith, managing director, pricing and reference data, EMEA at Interactive Data.

The Systems in the City Awards are organised annually by Goodacre UK, a leading provider of specialist support services to the securities and financial markets. The awards aim to highlight the excellence of system suppliers within the financial services industry in the UK.
