Nationwide Building Society in the UK has updated its existing Sopra debt collection software to version 12 of the vendor’s Instalment Credit Suite (ICS) platform.
The mutually-owned UK Society has migrated its current collections business to version 12 of the ICS platform in order to improve the user defined actions and scripting, which it hopes will lead to shorter and more effective agent calls.
Sopra Banking Software has a longstanding relationship with Nationwide dating back to 2000, when ICS was first implemented to run its UK collections operation, and this was a key reason for the contract award.
Commenting on the now live upgrade, Tim Stibbards, systems manager at Nationwide, said: “The continued investment in Sopra Banking Software’s solution has enabled us to match the credit collections process to our debt collection requirements. It’s tailor-made to our specific requirements, and as we now have a far greater level of control over how work is managed, it is a huge improvement.”
