Clear2Pay, the international technology provider of next generation payment solutions for financial institutions announces today it has been named as the vendor with three ‘best in class’ category mentions in the 2013 Payment Hub Solutions Vendors report by CEB TowerGroup.
The study offers an in-depth analysis of nine payment service hubs vendors. The outcome is result of a proven research methodology developed by CEB TowerGroup, which covers market drivers, case studies, spending forecasts, investment priorities and emerging technologies. This is then mapped against a list of key technology firms and their solutions after which a thorough product audit and comparison takes place. The outcome is finally mapped on four categories: Payments Capability, Payments Operations, Product Support and Enterprise Support. Clear2Pay received top ranking for Payments Operations, Product Support and Enterprise Support and 4.79/5 for Payments Capability.
Andy Schmidt, Research Director Payments at CEB TowerGroup states: “With over 20 active deployments across all 5 global regions covered in this report, Clear2Pay’s Open Payment Framework draws on an impressive client base among the payment services hub products on the market. Having established multiple industry standards since its first release in 2004, OPF continues to lead the market in terms of delivering innovative features in an ever-changing payments landscape. OPF received 3 “Best-in-Class” ratings and had a high score in the remaining category. We were impressed by the solution’s configurability, which is supported by BPEL standard as well as the inclusion of an SDK which allows banks to extend the system’s functionality”.
Warren Gardiner, Chief Product & Strategy Officer of Clear2Pay states: “We are obviously delighted with this industry independent recognition and regard this as a huge compliment to our product development and delivery teams around the world. It is a timely validation of our vision and of our commitment to support our clients in their quest for payments modernisation. We acknowledge and thank them for their continued commitment to us as a payment hub partner. We are determined to retain this top ranking and are confident that the exciting new features we plan to roll out in the coming 12 months will keep us there.”
