BI-SAM, the leading provider of data management, performance, attribution, risk, GIPS® and reporting solutions for the asset management industry, today announced the appointment of Elizabeth Durkee as Chief Marketing Officer.
Ms. Durkee, who has over 20 years’ experience as a strategic marketing leader in financial services, will lead BI-SAM’s global marketing functions including a customer-focused marketing strategy, brand development, and communications efforts. She will focus on generating and leveraging customer insights, building brand awareness in new markets, and implementing a systematic and strategic global marketing organization within BI-SAM.
Ms. Durkee joins BI-SAM from SunGard Financial Systems, where she served as vice president and global head of marketing for SunGard’s asset management business. Previous roles include senior management positions at well-known companies such as Eagle Investment Systems, a part of BNY Mellon, Bear Stearns and Smith Barney. In these roles, Ms. Durkee has maximized global marketing, sales, and business development efforts to achieve success.
