Steyler Bank GmbH (Steyler Bank) has chosen to implement the e-AMIS wealth management system of Profidata Group (Profidata). With this decision Steyler Bank responds to its own growth and increasing customer demands. The German private bank of the Catholic Order of Steyler Missionaries specialises in sustainable investments.
As of the beginning of 2013, all of the advisory mandates and trusts of the St. Augustin based Bank have been managed with the Swiss provider’s software. Steyler Bank is leveraging Dusseldorf’s WGZ Bank’s proven e-AMIS platform, on which several other cooperative banking institutions are already working with e-AMIS.
In terms of system selection, the bank placed particular importance on the ability to process portfolio and trust management in one system on an established platform. Business operations that were previously executed manually are now automated in e-AMIS; an example is the transmission of bank transactions via interfaces to the core banking system. Quality and efficiency are thereby improved and total costs reduced. Profidata’s solution also fulfils the high requirements for flexible processing of complex investment reporting, including the provision of «look through» for individual trustees.
On the decision to choose e-AMIS, Ralf Kern, Head of Asset Management of the Steyler Bank, said: «from both the cost and benefit perspectives, e-AMIS is the optimal solution for us. With e-AMIS, we are able to implement a comprehensive and modern software solution for our portfolio and trust management that is completely integrated into the WGZ Bank platform. This ensured a streamlined implementation project and made the final decision very easy».
Christian Widmer, CEO of Profidata describes the e-AMIS wealth management solution as «the ideal solution for smaller banks and asset managers wishing to utilise their potential in order to optimise quality and costs. e-AMIS is able to play to its strengths, particularly in centrally operated solutions: it is efficient and economical in operation with the greatest possible flexibility in terms of customer requirements.»
