DataCash has confirmed it has partnered with Shopitize to offer quick cashback payment in the UK.
The MasterCard company said it will allow people to make purchases using a Shopitize application on their mobile device, which will be available on iOS and Android.
When a shopper purchases an item, they take a photo of their receipt using their app to submit for verification. Shopitize's system then matches eligible purchases against the offers available and once the customer accumulates £5 in savings, they automatically receive the cashback.
Previously, Shopitize has been using cheque or PayPal to get money to customers. The former is a labour intensive process, while the latter is quick, but charges consumers fees on withdrawal.
Ajay Bhalla, president at DataCash, said the company is committed to helping merchants integrate digital payment technologies to the benefit of their end customer.
"We are excited to be working with Shopitize to enable a true mobile experience for its users," he remarked.
