Confluence Adds Veteran European Sales Executive to Growing Global Team

Luxembourg and Pittsburgh, PA - 7 September 2012

Confluence, a leading provider of automated data management solutions for the investment management industry, have announced that financial services veteran Frédéric Simon has joined the company as a Global Sales Account Executive. Simon will be responsible for expanding Confluence’s global market presence.

“Frédéric has extensive experience helping European financial services companies identify the data management and automated solutions needed to achieve their business objectives,” said Todd Moyer, Senior Vice President of Global Sales. “By leveraging his knowledge of the global marketplace and technology development, I know that Frédéric will be a great asset to fund administrators. He can help them to maximize their investments in technology – delivering solutions that drive efficiency, manage risk and increase revenue.”

Simon is the latest addition that Confluence has made this year to the global sales team. Moyer, his supervisor, was brought in this past July to lead the company’s global sales strategy and execution, while seeking out expansion opportunities for the company. And prior to Moyer, the company hired Melvin Jayawardana, a Luxembourg-based financial industry veteran with in-depth knowledge of the European markets.

Simon previously served as a sales executive at CETREL Securities, where he was in charge of business development for a suite of market data integration products for fund compliance and business process outsourcing. Prior to joining CETREL, Simon worked in sales at SmartStream Technologies and FRS Global.

In addition to his professional experience, Simon holds a Masters in Psychology from the Université de Liège.
