Information Mosaic’s Kevin Cullen to Present at the SIFMA Corporate Actions Educational Event in Chicago

Kevin Cullen, Global Communications and Marketing Director for Information Mosaic, the global leader in advanced post-trade automation solutions, will be presenting at the Securities Industry and Financial Management Association (SIFMA) Corporate Actions Section’s Global Forum in Chicago.

Comprised of hundreds of financial industry firms, SIFMA is a member-driven industry association that represents a broad spectrum of the financial markets. The SIFMA Corporate Actions Section is dedicated to education, networking, and the sharing of best practices in the corporate actions, proxy, and settlement sectors of the financial services industry. The SIFMA Corporate Actions Section memberships consists of senior operations and technology professionals from broker-dealers, banks, accounting firms, clearing organizations, asset managers, and consultancies.

This year’s Corporate Actions Global Forum event will feature presentations and panel discussions on industry initiatives such as the Legal Entity Identity (LEI) and ISO 20022, corporate actions risk, new technologies, and US and global regulatory changes.

Mr. Cullen will be participating in a case study panel detailing the processing of a recent complex corporate action event with cross-border tax implications. On the panel, Mr. Cullen will be joined by representatives from Wolters Kluwer and Globe Tax Services Inc. Each panelist will track the processing flow of the event from their respective point in the processing cycle, from the initial announcement, creation and full processing of the corporate action, to the complete tax reclaim process.

Mr. Cullen is a frequent industry speaker and has contributed articles to several financial publications. He is also a Board member of the International Securities Association for Institutional Communications (ISITC), serving as Co-Executive Sponsor of ISITC’s Corporate Actions Working Group, and the ISITC Marketing Committee.
