Comarch solutions at NATO Information Assurance Symposium

24 September 2012

Comarch exhibited its biometric scanner connected with a cryptographic card reader at the NIAS 2012 symposium on information assurance.

Comarch’s product is available in two versions - with slide or touch biometric scanner. The scanners are encased in a TEMPEST enclosure , which means the equipment is authorized for security zones in which information is processed at the highest level of secrecy. The use of TEMPEST equipment (Temporary Emanation and Spurious Transmission) ensures the security of data processing and excludes the possibility of leaking confidential information caused by the uncontrolled emission of electromagnetic radiation of the equipment.

Comarch Biometric solutions are used mainly in banks, where they are used to authenticate customers and authorize transactions by using a fingerprint.
