Opturo, Inc., has created a new web-based deployment of its Investment Analytics software, which it calls ODIN. Users of ODIN have access to Opturo's wide range of performance, attribution and risk analytics with the portability, scalability and ease-of-use of the web.
Opturo's Vice President, Rocco Rinaldi, explains, "ODIN is an enterprise-level performance, attribution and risk solution that is easy to maintain and distribute to an unlimited number of users. Data and configurations can be stored and maintained in a central location and deployed firm-wide."
While ODIN is run through a web browser on the front end, the same software engine, VIA, that powers Opturo's desktop and server applications runs on the back end. VIA's advanced analytics include exact decision attribution using daily trade-inclusive weights, multi-currency returns, and options including fixed income attribution and real-time capabilities.
With ODIN, a firm has full access to Opturo's extensive data management capabilities. Along with VIA, ODIN sits on the firm's own server and reads off its existing data environment. This allows unparalleled flexibility and alleviates the time and effort involved in maintaining a separate data environment.
Opturo's President, Ken D'Silva reflects, "We are very proud of this new offering. Data and analytics should have no boundaries. With ODIN, a firm can allow its users access to Opturo's platform anytime and anywhere."
