OptionsCity Software, a leading provider of electronic trading solutions, announced today that Freeway, the firm’s breakthrough multi-asset algorithmic trading platform, has won the 2012 Chicago Innovation Awards.
The Chicago Innovation Awards is the only organization in the country dedicated to honoring the most innovative new products and services brought to market from a specific region. This year nearly 400 nominations were received by 13 judges, representing a wide range of Chicago’s business community, who completed an exhaustive and complex judging process to select Freeway as a winner.
“The most important message of the Chicago Innovation Awards is one of confidence and courage,” said Thomas D. Kuczmarski, co-founder with Chicago journalist Dan Miller of the awards. “The economy is challenging but OptionsCity has the bravery to pursue their vision to bring innovation to the financial technology industry, and they have succeeded with Freeway.”
“Winning this remarkable award is recognition of the highest standards of service and innovation that our team strives to deliver to our clients, and is especially rewarding given that Freeway was launched only a year ago,” remarked Hazem Dawani, CEO of OptionsCity.
