iPartners, the leading provider of Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions to the property & casualty (P&C) insurance industry, congratulates GuideOne Insurance on being named an SMA Winning in Action Award winner. Presented by Strategy Meets Action (SMA), a leading insurance strategic advisory firm, the awards are presented each year to celebrate innovation in the insurance industry. The winners were announced at SMA’s inaugural SMA Summit in Boston on September 24, 2012.
As one of the two insurer award winners, GuideOne Insurance was recognized for its use of the iPartners Insurance ScorecardTMbusiness intelligence (BI) solution to create an environment for effective decision-making; achieving one of the company’s strategic goals to become a data-driven company.
Commenting on the GuideOne award, Karen Furtado, a partner with SMA, said, “GuideOne Insurance was recognized as an SMA Winning in Action award winner for exemplifying what it means to be a data-driven company, where analytics and data enable the standardization and socialization of information, reporting, and metrics across the enterprise.”
iPartners founder and CEO Robert Lasher, added, “We congratulate GuideOne on this outstanding recognition and we thank SMA for sponsoring the awards. We have enjoyed the opportunity to work closely with the GuideOne Insurance team as they have successfully transitioned to become a data-driven company. GuideOne serves as a great example of what an insurer can accomplish when they leverage technology like the iPartners Insurance Scorecard to drive business improvement across the enterprise.”
SMA launched the SMA Innovation in Action Awards award program to inspire, share, and recognize solutions that enable an insurance company to move beyond modernizing and optimizing to real innovation and transformation, ultimately creating differentiation and competitive advantage. The program spotlights both insurers and solution providers that have successfully implemented solutions that best leverage one or more of these five next-generation (next-gen) technologies: mobile, collaboration, analytics & big data, social media, and cloud.
