- Ran Fuchs Appointed to Drive Company Strategy and Corporate Development
- Michael Markov to Take Chairman Role
Markov Processes International (MPI), a provider of superior tools for investment and risk analytics and reporting, announced today the appointment of Ran Fuchs as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Fuchs will concentrate on business strategy, global growth and corporate development. Michael Markov, MPI’s Co-Founder and outgoing CEO, will continue on with the firm as Chairman in a full-time capacity but with an emphasis on research, partnerships, product initiatives and applying MPI’s IP to solve new problems.

In my new role as Chairman, I will now have the capacity to focus on many new initiatives that I simply could not address while running daily operations over the years. It is an exciting new chapter for MPI.”
Mr. Fuchs’ career spans more than twenty years in the financial services industry, extending from heading sell-side credit derivatives trading desks to managing business lines at major financial technology firms. Mr. Fuchs was Global Head of a series of divisions at RiskMetrics (now MSCI, NYSE: MSCI), including Credit Risk and ESG, where he was instrumental in growing the respective groups to become industry leaders. Most recently, Mr. Fuchs was Head of Product Development of CITCO Transparency Platform, an initiative to provide transparency and reporting to hedge funds and their investors.

Mr. Fuchs, 50, holds an MSc in Computer Science and Technology from the Tokyo Institute of Technology and a BSc in Mathematics from The Hebrew University.
