ImageScan Enables Consolidation Technology for Medical Payments

Lanham, MD - 12 October 2012

ImageScan Inc., a U.S.-based, leading software solutions provider for accounts receivables management and transactional content unification, have announced that it will introduce receivables consolidation technology for healthcare revenue cycle management in the ImageScan booth #1616 at the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) Annual Conference, taking place next week October 14 – 17, 2012 in Miami.

The receivables technology will consolidate ACH, Lockbox, POS, among others to facilitate the posting and reporting of medical payments. By aggregating electronic and paper-based payment transactions from multiple sources, ImageScan’s TCM Unify® and RevenueExpress® platforms enable the translation and delivery of medical payments to a common archive or portal. RevenueExpress translates non-standard data formats into the industry standard 835 format. Using TCM Unify and RevenueExpress together permits image redaction and encryption of patient and credit card data on stored image files, aiding users in meeting HIPAA and PCI compliance requirements.

“TCM Unify works in conjunction with RevenueExpress to apply and aggregate all payments to a single claim from all sources,” said Hanna Jabbour, Senior Product Manager of RevenueExpress for ImageScan. “ImageScan’s consolidation process vastly improves the management of healthcare receivables.”
