Represents Only Japan-Based Company in Top 60 Rankings
Nomura Research Institute, Ltd. (NRI), a leading provider of consulting services and system solutions, today announced their ranking on the FinTech 100, an annual international listing of the top vertical technology vendors that derive more than one third of their revenue from this industry as named by American Banker, Bank Technology News and IDC Financial Insights. NRI was ranked 9th for the third consecutive year and is the only Japan-based firm among the top 60 companies, exemplifying their standing in both the industry and region.
“For three consecutive years, our ranking on the FinTech 100 has characterized NRI’s continuous dedication to innovation for our clients and the industry,” said Shin Kusunoki, Corporate Senior Vice President and Asset Management Systems Division Manager, NRI. “We were extremely diligent and focused on increasing our global presence. It is an honor to be included in this list and we will continue to provide our best-of-breed solutions to meet our clients’ needs.”
Over the past year, NRI has upheld previous successes in delivering solutions that meet market demand. Through new partnerships and acquisitions, such as the purchase of Anshinsoft, NRI continued to focus on expanding its global footprint in the industry. Additionally, the firm opened NRI APAC Jakarta Representative office earlier this year and released upgrades to current solutions in order to help clients meet new compliance requirements.
Each fall, American Banker, Bank Technology News and IDC Financial Insights publish a comprehensive Fortune 500-style ranking of the hardware, software and service providers to the financial services industry. The ranking of the top vendors is categorized and evaluated based on calendar year-end revenues and the percentage of revenues exclusively attributed to financial services. Data is gathered from surveys completed by vendors, as well as original research and market analysis conducted by IDC Financial Insights.
