New hire, Sandy Gray, joins Rapid Ratings

Rapid Ratings, an independent research, ratings and analytics firm which is used by many corporations and banks to assess counterparty risk and companies’ viability, has announced that Sandy Gray has joined as head of sales operations and development.

Gray brings over 20 years of experience across both start-ups and Fortune 500 companies, having previously worked at Gartner, AT&T, IDG and Time Warner among others. She is tasked with driving the sales strategy, marketing programmes, sales planning and operations, business development, and customer relationship management activities across the consumer packaged goods, financial services, service providers, retail, and industrial manufacturing industries.

“Having worked with Sandy before, I already know her experience leading sales strategy and customer relationship management is exactly what we need here at Rapid Ratings,” said James Gellert, the chairman and chief executive. “She is notorious for growing revenue and scaling operations with measurable results, making her an ideal addition to the team at a time when we are seeing tremendous interest from corporations looking to more reliably manage their risk.”

Gray herself commented that she was “thrilled” to be joining Rapid Ratings, adding that she believes the firm, “has a real opportunity to build traction with companies who are increasingly focused on corporate counterparty and supply chain risk issues. I look forward to leading the charge.”

Gray is the second addition to Rapid Ratings' management team this year, following the hire of Jeff Gibb as senior vice president of strategic relations in January. The extra staff numbers perhaps illustrate the increased focus on counterparty risk in these tough economic times.
