CSC (NYSE: CSC) today announced that Groupama Insurances has extended its contract for the licence, maintenance and support of CSC’s Colossus personal injury claims valuation offering and plans to upgrade to the latest release, version 7, in 2012.
Groupama has used Colossus to help evaluate personal injury claims since 2006. As a result, the company has been able to ensure greater consistency with the claims evaluation framework Colossus creates for assisting handlers in assessing injuries, treatment, resolution, permanent impairment and general damage settlements.
Colossus version 7 features an improved browser-based graphical interface, business intelligence dashboards, real-time management reports and automatic straight-through processing of medico-legal reports.
